Registering your Acme ProClean V12 takes less than two minutes and is the single most important step you can take to protect your purchase. Registration activates your full warranty, ensures you receive safety notifications, and gives our support team instant access to your product details when you need help.
Why Register?
- Activate your warranty. Your 2-year machine and battery warranty is linked to your registration. Without registration, proving purchase date in a warranty claim requires a receipt — registration eliminates that friction.
- Faster support. When you contact Acme Support, we instantly retrieve your product, purchase date, and service history — no need to look up details.
- Safety and recall notifications. In the rare event of a product safety notice, registered owners are notified directly by email.
- Firmware updates. Registered products paired with the Acme app receive automatic firmware updates that improve performance and fix bugs.
Finding Your Serial Number
Before you register, locate your serial number. It appears in two places:
- Main unit label. On the rear of the main unit, just below the battery release button. The label reads "S/N:" followed by a 12-digit alphanumeric code (e.g., AV12-SG-240891).
- Packaging barcode label. On the side of the retail box, alongside the barcode. Useful if you haven't unboxed the machine yet.
Tip: Take a photo of the serial number label now. It's handy to have on your phone if you ever need to contact support while away from home.
How to Register Online
- Go to acmevacuums.com/register or open the Acme app and tap Register Product from the home screen.
- Sign in to your Acme account. If you don't have one yet, tap Create Account — it's free and takes 60 seconds.
- Enter your serial number exactly as it appears on the label (no spaces).
- Confirm your purchase date — this sets the start of your warranty period.
- Select your retailer from the dropdown list, or enter "Online" if purchased directly from acmevacuums.com.
- Click Register. You'll receive a confirmation email within a few minutes.
Registering via the Acme App
If you have already downloaded the Acme app and connected your vacuum via Bluetooth, the app can pre-fill your serial number automatically:
- Open the app and go to My Products.
- Tap your vacuum model. If not yet connected, tap Add Device first.
- Tap Register This Product. The serial number will be populated from the Bluetooth connection.
- Confirm your purchase date and retailer, then tap Submit.
Confirming Your Registration
After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing:
- Your registered serial number
- Warranty start and end dates
- A link to your Acme account where you can view all registered products
Keep this email as a record. If you sell or gift the vacuum, the new owner can transfer the remaining warranty by contacting Acme Support with the serial number and proof of ownership transfer.
Multiple Products
You can register as many Acme products as you like under a single account. Each appears as a separate entry under My Products in the app and on the website, with independent warranty tracking.
